WANTED: Someone to go down the tip for me
Is anyone going down the tip already? We just had remedial
work done to our wardrobe so there’s a bunch of chipboard out front soaking up
the bad weather. I can’t get down there as my wife’s got the motor and I am way
too decrepit to carry it from Lakenham – last Tuesday I walked to Drayton Road
with naught but the clothes on my back and my knees are still sulking. So
anyway, if you’re passing by City Road en route to the dump, I’d be well
grateful if you could take these bits for me. Bless your saintly heart.

Oh, that's a shame - my wife's hours are wholly incompatible with those of the municipal dump, so I was rather hoping that the request would be acceptable (I didn't see a problem in the faq @ http://faq.freecycle.org/faq/faq/faq_guidelines - is a more comprehensive set of guidelines available, please?)

Chipboard with wood effect veneer.
ReplyDeleteThis offering falls into two camps: a wet camp and a dry camp.
The wet bits have been outside for a few days, so would be ideal for anyone who enjoys taking things to the tip.
The dry piece, meanwhile, is approx 1 foot x 5 foot long and would be ideal for screwing a clothes rail to.
While I would love this collection to stay together, I am prepared to split.
