Fridge Master Chest Freezer

This beast must be pushing 15 years old. It may not be energy efficient (it predates all those scales) but it’s a Trojan. It may not be pretty, but it does come with a sticker from the Australian Meat Marketing Board that says “I can make you feel good”.

The dimensions are approximately 22”x23”x33” and it would be great for anyone who needs a spare freezer for their garage.

Surely no one freecycles deep frequency tones... Or are they referring to fish? Or beer?

Pritt Correction Tape Refill (4.2mm x 14mm)

A few years ago, I bought the wrong product from Amazon and failed to return it, figuring that I might need it some day. I’ve changed my mind. It’ll never get used. Not in this house anyway.

If you own a refillable Pritt “correction tape mouse”, then this is just what you’re looking for.

2x Panasonic Speakers (30w)

Rather dinky little things. Handy to have in, say, a kitchen. Not much use in, say, a living room.

And yet they're so much more rewarding when watched under duress.

Old jokes

Comprising:
  • “Laugh Magazine” No. 22
  • “Variety” No. 48
  • “Laughs of Mystery and Crime”
  • “Laughs with the Youngsters”
  • “Humour Variety”
  • Three rag-mags

Aside from the 1990 rag-mag (by far the most recently published item), these publications have no dates. Some are quite yellowed with age. All are barely amusing but vaguely interesting from a historical perspective. Ideal for a collector of vintage ephemera.

Do anyone have a cast iron man hole cover they no longer need
Thanks

My dad had four cast-iron mooring posts for YEARS. Also a two-ft wide no-entry sign and a manually operated fire-bell. No manhole cover though.

Ring-binder of negatives

Fascinating piece of vintage ephemera. You could make loads of photos out of this trove. All pictures of people have been removed.

Samsung flatscreen monitor (colour)

The on/off switch can be erratic since the button fell off, but it’s no bother to cut the power at the mains. Happy to supply power/VGA connection cables, but they have been gnawed slightly by my mum’s cat. It’s what he does.

Mousemat with picture of truck

Do you use mousemats? Do you love really big trucks? Then you’ll love this! This mousemat was produced as promotional material for Terex Trucks. The picture is of a really big truck creating major spray as it ploughs, fully laden with rocks and stones, through a really big muddy puddle. The driver is wearing a hi-vis vest. The photography is great, but I only use mousemats with built-in wrist support on account of my tendency to get RSI.

Used once.

Chambers 20th Century Dictionary

Published c. 1983, this dictionary contains a rare bindery error: pp. 885-948 are included TWICE; pp. 757-884 are ABSENT.

Does not contain words such as selfie, vape, LOL, unfriend or glasnost. Does contain petrodollar, slumpflation, swingometer and wetlook, although these are in a separate supplemental section at the end (pp. 1647-1652).
