Phillips EasyCare 3232 iron

It's all limescaled up so you can't currently get any steam out of it, but it still gets hot enough to make things less crumpled, which is the whole point of irons, right?

CD player - needs repair

Cambridge Audio CD player (separate). Currently skips when playing CDs but probably reparable if you know about these things.

Philips No. 1 Photoflood 240/250W lightbulb

Presumably useful only if you develop your own photographs, probably using vintage equipment, or you collect old lightbulbs.

Light bulbs

All manner of bulbs, including old-fashioned filament ones (bayonet cap), candle bulbs and some that fit the headlamps of some car or other. Looks like my father had been hoarding them for the apocalypse.

Pneumatic bar stools

Two stools in full working order. Absolutely peachy apart from the fact that my children have ruined the leatherette. Perfect for anyone who can re-cover this kind of thing, or for people who like tatty-looking cream stools. They rotate too.

Two rolls of wall “paper”

It isn’t paper. I don’t know what it is, but it isn’t paper. It’s designed to hang like wallpaper, but it’s wipeable and a bit squidgey in texture. Based on no interior design knowledge whatsoever, I’d say these rolls are somewhere between 30 and 60 years old. They’ve certainly never been fashionable in my adult life. Also, they don’t match.

HP78 colour ink cartridge

It’s a refilled cart rather official HP/OEM product. Found it in my dad’s office. Doesn’t fit any of his printers. No idea how old it is. Do these things dry out? Again, I have no idea. But I don’t need it, of that much I am certain.

2x doohickeys for retaining blind/curtain cords/chains

I have no idea what you call these bits of plastic but you fix them to the wall to stop the chain/cord of your blind/curtain flapping around.

Vintage PC software

Classic adventure games like Myst (and sequels) and Zork, a bunch of art/design software published by Serif and some other bits and bobs I can’t be bothered to type out. Some of this is proper Windows 95 era, so unless you’re into old tech or running emulators, it’s probably not for you.

Rocking stool

Probably best if you put your feet on it and used it in conjunction with a rocking chair, but there’s nothing to stop you just sitting on it, if that floats your boat. Made of wood. Lacks cushion pad.

Home Cultures Vol. 3.1 to 6.1 inclusive

Home Cultures is a cross-disciplinary journal of architecture, design and domestic space, of particular interest to scholars of anthropology. One issue contains an article about gnomes, so nanologists might fancy a look in too.

White clothes horse

Worked better before my kids meddled with it. I can no longer make it stand to its full height. Maybe you can?

Bob Martins All in One flea spray (aerosol/pesticide free)

Bottle has a picture of a cat and a dog on it so is probably suitable for either. It has an expiry date of this month but should be good for a dose or two.

Not to be applied to eyes or mouth.

Bed

More precisely, it's the frame for a single bed and it's made of pine. Pine that's about 20 years old and somewhat yellowed with age. Screws included. Mattress not included.
